Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), the city’s public transport operator, will increase L3 metro services for the Festes de Gràcia, held from 15 to 21 August 2026. Festival-goers travelling on the final Friday night can use the metro continuously from 5am on Friday 21 August until midnight at the end of Sunday 23 August service, a 67-hour period.

According to Barcelona City Council’s announcement, TMB recommends public transport for travel to the popular neighbourhood festival. It advises passengers to plan journeys and alternatives in advance because improvement works are affecting parts of the metro network.

L3 service to increase by up to 10%

TMB will add trains on L3, the Green Line, increasing services by up to 10% at certain times. It will also deploy additional customer service, security and cleaning staff at the stations expected to be busiest during the celebrations.

The continuous service applies across the metro network, starting at 5am on Friday 21 August and ending at midnight on Sunday 23 August.
