Sónar Barcelona 2027 has announced its first 30 artists and major venue changes, as reported by Metropoliabierta on Tuesday 3rd November 2026. The festival, scheduled for 17th to 19th June 2027, will see Sónar de Dia relocate to Barcelona’s waterfront, reconnecting with its original urban and radical character.
Confirmed acts include Carl Cox, returning 20 years after his last appearance, Bonobo performing live from his album Distance in Static, Dominican rapper Tokischa, pop icon Jessie Ware, Japanese innovator Cornelius and DJ Peggy Gou. Also on the bill are Romy of The XX, Honey Dijon, Yung Lean, and live sets from Aurora Halal, Donato Dozzy and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.
Sónar de Nit will return to its long-standing home at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, hosting two nights across four stages. The 2026 edition had merged Sónar de Dia and Nit at the venue, but the 2027 format restores the traditional split.
Sónar+D and Festival Identity
Sónar+D, the festival’s innovation and creativity strand, will be reintegrated into the main programme. A new image campaign reflects a symbolic death and rebirth of the festival, following a week-long online teaser titled 'Sónar is dead'.
Tickets and Access
Early-bird SonarPass and SonarPass+D passes are now on sale, covering both day and night events. The +D tier includes access to Sónar+D. VIP and standard options are available via the official festival website.
