Follow the Firefighters' Run Live via New App

The official app for the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona 2026 is now available for free on Android and iOS devices, allowing participants, families and spectators to follow the event in real time. The race will take place on Sunday 8th November, with start and finish at Avinguda Marquès de l’Argentera, outside Estació de França in central Barcelona. According to the Barcelona City Council, the app enhances accessibility and information for runners and the public by centralising key details in one digital tool.

Live Tracking and Real-Time Results

One of the app’s standout features is live runner tracking, enabling friends and family to monitor a participant’s progress along the 10-kilometre route even if they cannot be physically present at specific points. The app also provides real-time updated rankings and results, so users can check competitors’ positions and recorded times during the event without waiting for official final standings.

The app allows family and friends to see the evolution of runners during the course of the run.

This functionality aims to improve the experience for both participants and supporters, especially given the race’s expected crowds and road closures across central Barcelona.

Practical Information for Participants and Spectators

In addition to sports data, the app delivers practical updates on traffic disruptions, route changes, and services available to runners. This includes access to medical points, refreshment stations, and post-race facilities. The Barcelona City Council said the goal is to help organisers, runners and spectators better prepare for and navigate the event day.

The app was developed by the Ajuntament de Barcelona and is part of ongoing efforts to digitise public sporting events and improve urban mobility during major gatherings.
