The LEGO flagship store on Passeig de Gràcia is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a weekend of free activities for families and fans of all ages. From Thursday 29th October to Saturday 31st October 2026, the store will host building workshops, face painting, meet-and-greets with LEGO characters, and a Halloween-themed ghost hunt.
The celebrations coincide with the early release of the new LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família set, available in-store on Saturday 31st October, one day before its international launch. The set, made up of 12,060 pieces, stands at 62cm tall and will be available for purchase at the store.
Designer Signing Sessions
Rok Žgalin Kobe, the designer of the Sagrada Família LEGO set, will visit the Passeig de Gràcia store for a signing session between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Saturday 31st October. He will later appear at the LEGO store in L’Illa Diagonal shopping centre from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM the same day.
Interactive and Collaborative Activities
Visitors can take part in a range of hands-on events, including decorating the store’s anniversary cake and contributing to a collaborative mosaic mural. Collectors will also have the chance to add a new stamp to their LEGO passport, a promotional item for store visitors.
The store, which opened on 29th October 2021, spans over 800 square metres and pays tribute to Catalan modernism through design elements inspired by Antoni Gaudí. Permanent installations include large-scale LEGO reproductions of the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, created with nearly 200,000 and 257,000 pieces respectively.
Sagrada Família Model Updated
The in-store LEGO model of the Sagrada Família has been recently updated to reflect new construction advances on the real basilica. The renovation required 15,285 additional bricks and 61 extra hours of assembly, bringing the total to 237,567 pieces and 1,331 hours of construction work.
Interactive features such as the Minifigure Factory and the Pick & Build wall will remain open, allowing guests to customise minifigures and create their own small builds to take home.
