Winter night tours begin 19 November
Starting Thursday 19th November 2026, Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia will reopen for evening visits with Una Nit d’Hivern (A Winter Night), an immersive experience showcasing Antoni Gaudí’s architectural masterpiece through augmented reality, projections, and curated soundscapes. The event runs until 16th March 2027, with entry times from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM and a visit duration of one hour and 15 minutes, according to the official Casa Batlló website.
Immersive storytelling and seasonal lighting
Visitors will explore the landmark’s most iconic spaces, including the recently restored modernist courtyard and rear façade, highlighted with special lighting that reveals original colours and recovered architectural details. The experience includes access to the Gaudí Cube 360º room, a fully immersive LED space, and an augmented reality tablet for interactive exploration. Guests can choose between three audio-guided narratives: a standard architectural overview, or character-led stories voiced by Fermina, the long-time nanny of the Batlló family, and Juan Carlos Marimon, the great-grandson of the former owners, with actor Mario Gas providing the Catalan and Spanish narration. A specially composed soundtrack by multimedia artist Jordi Longán accompanies the tour, featuring the original song La Nana de Fermina by singer and composer Sheila Blanco.
If you choose Fermina’s voice, her lullaby will play at key moments, adding warmth and intimacy to the journey.
From 28th November to 6th January, the building’s façade will also feature a three-minute light and music show, displayed every half hour in the evenings.
Family access and ticket details
Children aged 0 to 12 enter free of charge and are encouraged to use the AR tablet during the visit. Spanish residents can take advantage of a 2-for-1 ticket offer. Standard tickets range from €39 to €43, with booking available via the official Casa Batlló website, which allows visitors to select their preferred date and time slot.
