Electrical Upgrades Underway from 9 November

Work to install approximately 86 metres of new low-voltage ducting will begin on Monday 9th November on Carrer de Conrad Xalabarder in the Les Corts district of Barcelona. The project, managed by Barcelona City Council’s District of Les Corts, will last until Friday 27th November and take place during standard construction hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Parking and Access Disruptions

The work will be carried out in a single phase on the Llobregat side of the street, requiring the temporary removal of parked vehicles in the area. While vehicle traffic will be maintained and access to properties and driveways guaranteed at all times, mobility may be affected due to partial street closures. To minimise disruption, construction will proceed in halves, allowing one side of the road to remain passable. Pedestrian access will be preserved throughout the works, with temporary adapted crossings installed over trenches to ensure safe passage.

What Residents Need to Know

Local residents and businesses are advised to plan for temporary parking restrictions and possible delays during the working day. The improvements form part of ongoing efforts to modernise Barcelona’s urban electrical infrastructure. More information about the project and other local works is available on the District of Les Corts works information page.
