Week-Long Summer Events Programme Underway

The Palm Market is hosting a full week of evening activities in Plaça de les Palmeres, Castelldefels, as part of a summer-long cultural initiative launched by the local council. The event runs from 26 June to 5 September 2026 and combines entertainment, dining and shopping in an open-air seaside setting. Organised by the municipal Comerç department, the Palm Market replaces and expands upon the previous 'Nits entre Palmeres' and 'Cinema entre Palmeres' summer programmes, creating a unified space for leisure and community gathering.

Daily Line-Up of Cultural Activities

Each week features a structured schedule of free events. Thursdays are dedicated to open-air cinema, Fridays to live music, Saturdays to family-friendly shows and Sundays to comedy performances. Upcoming events include an Improshow on Tuesday 21 July at 20:30, followed by 'Palm Lights: Music with Candles' featuring hits by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran on Wednesday 22 July at 21:30. On Thursday 23 July, the film 'Campeones' screens from 21:30. Friday 24 July brings the tribute band Insurrección, paying homage to El Último de la Fila, starting at 21:30. Saturday 25 July features a children's pirate show from 19:30, and Sunday 26 July concludes the week with a comedy double bill featuring Mónica Pérez and Jordi Ríos.

Shopping, Food and Seaside Terraces

In addition to the entertainment, the Palm Market hosts stalls offering fashion, crafts and cosmetics. A selection of food trucks, bars and seaside terraces provide dining options throughout the evening. The space is designed for walking, relaxing and socialising, with the aim of making Plaça de les Palmeres the summer cultural hub of Castelldefels.
