Major Acts Confirmed for Five-Day Festival

The 2026 edition of Barcelona's La Mercè festival will host more than 100 concerts across 16 stages from 23 to 27 September, with performances by La Pegatina, Svetlana, and Love of Lesbian among the highlights, according to the Barcelona City Council. The event, sponsored by Estrella Damm, will transform public spaces into live music venues, celebrating local, national, and international talent. One of the main stages will be located at Platja del Bogatell, where La Pegatina are scheduled to perform at 9.30 pm on Saturday 26 September.

Genre Diversity and Emerging Talent

La Pegatina, a rumba and ska fusion band formed in Montcada i Reixach in 2003, will present material from their ninth studio album, Fuegos del barrio. The group has performed over 1,200 concerts in 35 countries since their inception. Svetlana, known for her electropop style, is set to close the Platja del Bogatell stage at 1.30 am on Sunday 27 September. Love of Lesbian, the indie rock band, will perform at 11.30 pm on the same stage. The full lineup also includes Nacho Vegas, Els Catarres, Maria Jaume, Sexenni, and Sabor de Gràcia, reflecting a broad mix of genres including flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, and experimental music.
