Barcelona police are investigating two separate knife incidents reported on Sunday 6 September: a street fight in Carmel in which no one was injured, and a triple stabbing at a flat on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes in Sants-Montjuïc.
For Carmel residents, the immediate consequence was an emergency response near Pastrana Square at about 9.30pm, after a fight involving at least one knife was reported. The two men involved were identified by the Guàrdia Urbana, Barcelona's municipal police force, but neither was arrested, according to ElCaso.

The 112 emergency service received an alert about the confrontation near Pastrana Square. Guàrdia Urbana patrols went to Sigüenza Street to separate those involved and take their details.
Ambulances from the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques, Catalonia's public medical emergency service, also attended. Neither man was injured, ElCaso reported.
Police have not released the men's ages. Both are under investigation while officers establish why the confrontation began and what happened during it.
Three people stabbed at Sants-Montjuïc flat
Earlier on Sunday, a man allegedly stabbed three people inside a fourth-floor flat at 162 Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, according to ARA. The Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's regional police force, have opened an investigation.
ARA reported that three men lived at the address and that a woman, the partner of one resident, was also in the flat. For reasons that have not been established, one resident allegedly entered the couple's room and stabbed them; the male victim was seriously injured.
A third resident was injured after responding to the screams, though his injuries were minor. The alleged attacker then self-harmed and jumped from the balcony, leaving him in a critical condition.
The investigation covers the circumstances of the Sants-Montjuïc attack and the separate Carmel confrontation, where the two men identified by municipal police were not injured.
