New Bus Timetables from 9 November
Starting Monday 9th November 2026, Renfe will adjust the schedules of the alternative bus service on the R3 Rodalies line to align with evolving infrastructure work and passenger demand. The changes affect the Vic–La Tor de Querol section during overnight maintenance windows. The revised bus timetables aim to better match the mobility needs of commuters using the replacement service while rail improvements continue. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules before travelling, as journey times and departure points may differ from the usual train service.
Full Rail Suspension Between La Garriga and Figaró from 16 Nov
From Monday 16th November to Monday 14th December, train services will be fully suspended between La Garriga and El Figaró due to infrastructure renovation work by Adif. During this period, Renfe will operate a dedicated alternative bus service to maintain connectivity for passengers. The bus service will run with increased frequency during peak morning and evening hours, particularly for journeys originating or ending in La Garriga. Buses will depart every 30 minutes between 6:00 and 9:00 on weekdays from La Sínia stop in La Garriga, heading to Barcelona, and return from La Sagrera–Meridiana between 16:00 and 21:00.
Passengers are reminded that Rodalies de Catalunya travel tickets remain valid on the alternative bus services, provided they are validated at the origin station.
Additional Connections and Accessibility
Substitute buses will also serve the route between Mollet and Centelles, with stops in all affected towns including La Garriga and Figaró. From Figaró, passengers can continue by train to Vic. The replacement service is fully accessible for passengers with reduced mobility. Direct bus links are available between Barcelona–Fabra i Puig and key destinations including Vic, La Garriga, Granollers–Canovelles, and Montcada Ripollet.
