Free Telephone Guidance for Online Procedures

L'Hospitalet de Llobregat has launched a permanent telephone support service to help residents complete administrative tasks via the municipal Electronic Office. The service, which was trialled previously, is now fully operational and targets people who face difficulties using digital platforms independently. Citizens can request a support session by filling in a simple online form with their contact details and a description of the procedure they need help with. No digital certificate is required to apply. A trained officer will then call them at the agreed time and guide them step by step through the process.

The aim is for the user to complete the procedure themselves, but with professional support over the phone.

What Support Covers

The service assists with key online actions, including:

  • Submitting an electronic application
  • Uploading documents for an ongoing case file
  • Registering for idCAT Mòbil
  • Accessing or checking a notification in the municipal inbox

This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide, ensuring all residents, particularly older adults or those with limited digital skills, can access public services without needing to visit an office in person.

Other Ways to Get Help

In addition to the new telephone support, the Citizen Services Department offers assistance through three channels:

  • Telephone: Call 010 (within L'Hospitalet) or 900 100 277 (from outside the city), Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00
  • Electronic: Via the Electronic Office portal
  • In-person: At the Citizen Services Offices (OAC) on Carrer de Girona, 10, in the Centre, or at the La Florida 6.0 Digital Transformation Centre on the second floor of the Mercat Municipal de la Florida

A third in-person office is planned for the Santa Eulàlia neighbourhood at Can Trinxet, as part of ongoing efforts to bring services closer to residents.

We want to bring the administration closer to neighbourhoods and combine in-person support with digital guidance.

Residents can book appointments for in-person visits online via the Citizen Services booking portal or by phone. Urgent cases and empadronament forms are accepted without an appointment.
