Italian music icon Eros Ramazzotti celebrated four decades in the industry with a sold-out concert at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi on Saturday, thrilling fans and announcing a new show for 27 April 2027. The acclaimed singer performed a mix of his classic hits and tracks from his latest album, "Una historia importante" (An Important Story).

A Sold-Out Performance

The concert, which saw all tickets sold out, began with "Taxi Story." This was followed by "Quanto amore sei" (How Much Love You Are) and "Un cuore con le ali" (A Heart with Wings). Ramazzotti addressed the enthusiastic crowd in Catalan, stating, "Barcelona, t'estimo" (Barcelona, I love you), according to Eros Ramazzotti Wikipedia Page. He performed for nearly two hours, mixing Italian and Spanish songs, a common practice for the artist.

Barcelona's Premier Venue

Ramazzotti, accompanied by nine musicians and three backing singers, included popular tracks such as "Più bella cosa" (Most Beautiful Thing) and "Un angelo disteso al sole" (An Angel Lying in the Sun). Other songs featured were "Un emozione per sempre" (An Emotion Forever), "I Belong to You," "Stella gemella" (Twin Star), and "Musica è" (Music Is). The Palau Sant Jordi, located on Montjuïc, is one of Barcelona's largest indoor venues. It regularly hosts major international artists and sporting events. The venue has a capacity of up to 17,960 for concerts, making it a significant stage for artists celebrating career milestones.

Future Tour Dates

Following his Barcelona performance, Ramazzotti will continue his tour with a concert in Madrid this Monday. He will then visit Lisbon and several Italian cities before heading to America. The newly announced Barcelona concert on 27 April 2027 offers another opportunity for fans to experience the Italian star live.
