The RBLS Young Theatre Festival will mark its tenth anniversary with a 15-day programme of performances addressing themes such as mental health, historical memory, and youth pressures, as La Ciutat reported. From 6 to 20 November 2026, shows will take place in Barcelona, Canovelles, Cardedeu, Cornellà, Granollers, l’Ametlla del Vallès, Manresa, Mataró, Montcada i Reixac, Sabadell, and Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

At La Villarroel in Barcelona, 'Los bancos regalan sandwicheras y chorizos' by José y sus hermanas examines historical memory and the legacy of Francoism on 10 November. On 14 November, 'Ricard de 3r' explores adolescent violence, followed by 'Bonobo 2.0' on 15 November. Teatre Tantarantana will host 'Hora bruixa', 'Quan el món pesa', and 'Un mal normal'.

Elsewhere, 'Res de tu' will be performed at L’Auditori de Cornellà, while 'Man mano, il tempo scorre (l’incontro)' runs in Canovelles. Mataró and Cardedeu will host 'Ragazzo'. 'Els Miserables' will be staged in Manresa, 'Perdón' in Granollers, and 'Feudal' in l’Ametlla del Vallès.

Anniversary Events and Audience Guide

An opening party will be held on 9 November at Razzmatazz 3 in Barcelona, featuring a performance by pop group Vici Maurici. A photographic book will document the festival’s decade-long journey, and the RBLS PRO event will present the 'Manual for Young Audience Activation' on the same day.

Unfortunately, ten years after its creation, it remains relevant, or more relevant than ever,

the festival’s director Carme Tierz told La Ciutat. She added:

We are not inventing anything here. Young people have said what they would like and how they would like it.
