Families in L'Hospitalet will be able to attend three Munt de Mots storytelling sessions at public libraries between Wednesday 14 October and Thursday 22 October 2026, according to the Ajuntament de L'Hospitalet library programme. The first event, at Biblioteca la Bòbila, is due to begin at 17:30 on 14 October.

The programme lists stories for children and families at Biblioteca la Bòbila, Biblioteca Plaça Europa and Biblioteca la Florida. Residents can check the municipal library agenda for the venues and start times before attending.

Three festival sessions scheduled in October

  • Wednesday 14 October, 17:30: From Mouth to Mouth, performed by the Furafollas theatre group at Biblioteca la Bòbila. The session uses traditional and contemporary stories to explore how Galician and Catalan can coexist, converse and enrich one another.
  • Saturday 17 October, 12:00: The Flight of the Dragonflies, presented by Josep Lluís Gallardo at Biblioteca Plaça Europa. The story includes a doll, a spinning top and dragonflies that audiences are invited to follow through the tales.
  • Thursday 22 October, 17:30: Miriorama, the Never-Ending Folktale, presented by Assumpta Mercader at Biblioteca la Florida. The activity uses illustrated cards that can be rearranged into different scenes and stories, alongside characters from Catalan folktales.

Munt de Mots is an oral storytelling festival. The municipal listing identifies the Biblioteca la Florida event as part of the 2026 edition and says participants will create new stories together using the card-based miriorama format.

The full schedule, including the three library locations and session times, is available through the Biblioteques de L'Hospitalet agenda.
