Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia’s regional police, are seeking Artemio, an 83-year-old man reported missing near the Emilio Sánchez Academy in El Prat de Llobregat. Police said he may be disoriented.

The appeal concerns people who were near the sports complex, close to Barcelona El Prat Airport. Nació Digital reported that the police are asking the public to help locate him.

Clothing and physical description issued by police

Police described Artemio as slim, with grey hair and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing:

  • a dark green T-shirt;
  • beige shorts;
  • light-coloured sports shoes; and
  • a navy-blue cap.

The Emilio Sánchez Academy is on the C-31 at kilometre 191, in El Prat de Llobregat. The Baix Llobregat tourism consortium lists the complex as covering 100,000 square metres, with tennis, padel, football and other sports facilities.

Anyone who recognises Artemio or has information that could help locate him is being asked by Mossos to assist with the police appeal.
