The organisers of Sabadell's Fresc Festival have closed the 2026 edition with 3,300 spectators, according to festival figures reported by Diari de Sabadell, Ràdio Sabadell and the festival's own website. For local audiences, that means this summer's programme again filled most seats at the city's open-air festival, with six performances selling out.

The festival brought together theatre, music and poetry in Sabadell across 14 programmed shows, with an average occupancy rate of 88%, according to Diari de Sabadell and Ràdio Sabadell. Both outlets reported that 40% of spectators came from outside the city, mainly from Vallès Occidental and Barcelona.

The sold-out performances included the two opening shows of Bona gent by Quim Masferrer, Loop by Sabadell-born Ramon Madaula, Laura Andrés's concert presenting +Zerø, Alfred García's concert T'estimo es te quiero, and the closing performance by Sidonie with Catalan Graffiti.

Season tickets doubled their share of sales

Festival data cited by Diari de Sabadell shows that 16.5% of all tickets sold were bought through season tickets. That is almost double last year's 8.5% share.

Sunyer also told Ràdio Sabadell that the festival maintained a 40% share of audiences from outside Sabadell. He said most came from Vallès Occidental and Barcelonès.
