12-hour electronic marathon set for New Year’s Day
Elrow, the electronic music festival brand founded in Catalonia, will return to Barcelona on 1 January 2027 for its first major daytime event in over six years. The 12-hour party will run from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM under the slogan "We're dancing under the sun again", appealing to fans of the brand’s original open-air format. The festival is expected to draw more than 20,000 attendees across three simultaneous stages. Organisers have not yet revealed the venue within Barcelona, keeping the location secret ahead of the announcement.
Ticket sales timeline confirmed
Pre-registration is currently open via elrow.com, giving fans early access to an exclusive pre-sale of 5,000 tickets on 6 October 2026. General ticket sales will begin the following day, 7 October. This return holds emotional significance for long-time followers. Though elrow now runs events at venues like Amnesia in Ibiza and stages at Tomorrowland, its roots are in daytime parties at Row 14 nightclub in Viladecans, where Sunday sessions helped define its identity.
A family-built global party phenomenon
The event is organised by the Arnau family, Juan Arnau Jr. and Cruz Arnau, who also operate Florida 135 in Fraga and founded the Monegros Desert Festival. Known for immersive experiences, elrow events feature world-class DJs alongside confetti cannons, inflatables, stilt walkers, jugglers, and elaborate themed sets ranging from jungle landscapes to psychedelic Wild West scenes. This model of high-energy, visually extravagant entertainment has led to residencies and tours across five continents. The Barcelona festival marks a homecoming for a brand born in the local club scene.
