Weekend and Holiday Parking Charges Resume

The autumn-winter season for parking in the Blue and Green Zones at Castelldefels beach began on Tuesday, 1 October 2026, and will run until 31 March 2027. From now until then, parking in Zone B of the Blue and Green Zones will be paid on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays between 10:00 and 21:00. Zone A of the Blue and Green Zones remains free every day during this period.

Residents registered in Castelldefels who pay vehicle tax (IVTM) and have no outstanding debts with the council can park for free in the Green Zone without needing to purchase a ticket.

These residents are automatically included in the authorised vehicles database. Vehicle owners can check their registration status via the official parking portal.

How to Pay for Parking

The Apparquem mobile app, available for Android and Apple devices, allows users to pay for parking in both the Blue and Green Zones across Castelldefels. The app can be downloaded from the official parking website. During the summer season, from 1 May to 30 September, parking in both zones is charged Monday to Sunday, including holidays. The current autumn-winter rules reflect a reduced charging schedule compared to the summer months.

This seasonal adjustment aims to balance visitor access with resident needs during the quieter months. Drivers are advised to check zone signage and time restrictions carefully to avoid penalties.
