Weekend Concert Transport Plan

Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will operate special shuttle bus services this weekend to accommodate concertgoers travelling to Palau Sant Jordi, with performances scheduled for Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2026. The concerts, featuring Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler on Saturday and Spanish artist Melendi on Sunday and Monday, are expected to draw large crowds to the Montjuïc venue. To manage access and egress, TMB has confirmed dedicated bus services will run between Plaça d’Espanya and the concert hall.

Jorge Drexler Concert: Saturday 31st October

Drexler’s performance begins at 9 PM on Saturday. Shuttle buses will operate from Plaça d’Espanyia to Palau Sant Jordi from 7 PM to 9 PM. After the concert, which is expected to end around 10:30 PM, return services will run from the venue back to Plaça d’Espanya. All integrated fare transport tickets will be valid on these services. Buses will display the route indicator Pl. Espanya – Palau St. Jordi, according to TMB’s official transport notice.

Melendi Concerts: Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd November

Melendi’s two concerts, both starting at 9 PM, will be supported by similar shuttle arrangements. The uphill service will run from 6:30 PM to 9 PM on both days. Downhill return services will begin around 10:30 PM following each concert.

Metro and Alternative Routes

While the metro will run non-stop throughout the night on Saturday, services on Sunday and Monday will end at midnight. Concertgoers are advised to plan their return journeys accordingly. An alternative route involves taking the metro to Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and transferring to the Montjuïc Funicular, which connects directly to the hillside venue. Regular bus lines 13, 55, 125, and 150 (Pl. Espanya – Castell de Montjuïc) also serve the area, though the special shuttle is recommended for ease and capacity.

All integrated fare system transport tickets will be valid on these shuttle bus services.

TMB has published full transport recommendations for Palau Sant Jordi events on its official service alerts page, where updated schedules and service notices are posted.
