Electricity supply incidents were reported from early on Sunday 2 August in south-west Barcelona and near the boundary with L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, according to the e-distribución fault map.

People living or working near Gran Via, Fira de Barcelona Gran Via and Zona Franca may be affected by interruptions to their electricity supply. The reports are also concentrated near the C-31 and the access routes to the Fira venue, an area used by local businesses, logistics operators and road users.

The map shows multiple reports within a relatively small part of Barcelona and L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, including:

  • La Marina del Prat Vermell
  • The area around Fira de Barcelona Gran Via
  • Granvia Sud
  • Bellvitge
  • El Gornal
  • Parts of Zona Franca and the port access roads

Reports extend towards L’Hospitalet

Fault reports also cover points close to the transport and logistics infrastructure linking Barcelona with L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
