The outdoor swimming pool at Reial Societat Tennis Pompeia, at Carrer de la Foixarda 2-4 in Montjuïc, is open to non-members this summer. Visitors pay €12 for a day ticket and must reserve in advance because capacity is limited.
The pool is part of CEM Tennis Montjuïc, a municipal sports centre managed by the historic tennis club. For residents and visitors seeking an outdoor swimming option in Sants-Montjuïc, it adds a further site to Barcelona’s network of 15 municipal open-air pools.

The pool opens every day from 9.00am to 8.30pm. The club says the site is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

A day ticket includes use of the showers and changing rooms, access to the weights room and entry to the bar-restaurant area. The outdoor pool was refurbished before the 2026 summer season.
A club based in Montjuïc since 1951
Reial Societat Tennis Pompeia was founded in 1913 and originally had courts in the area bounded by Travessera de Gràcia, Carrer de Casanova, Carrer de Santaló, Carrer d’Amigó and Avinguda Diagonal. Rising rental costs led the club to leave those facilities.
In 1951, the municipal Montjuïc tennis complex was transferred to the club on the condition that it would maintain and manage it. The courts had been built for international competitions during Barcelona’s 1929 International Exposition.
Non-members can book by registering as a guest user on the Reial Societat Tennis Pompeia website, creating a temporary password and selecting the tickets and passes sales section.
