Christmas season show to run from 19 December to 14 March
The Circ Raluy Legacy will return to Barcelona this Christmas after a two-year absence, setting up its big top at Moll de la Barceloneta in Port Vell from 19th December 2026. The show, titled Cyborg, will run until 14th March 2027, offering residents and visitors several months to experience the production that has drawn over 400,000 spectators across Spain. Performances will take place at the Moll de la Fusta, located along Passeig Colom, a site confirmed by official ticketing platforms including tomaticket.es. The circus has not yet released its full performance schedule, but shows are expected throughout the week during the holiday period and beyond.
Award-winning circus returns to its 'second home'
The return marks a significant moment for the Raluy family, who describe Barcelona as a second home. Louisa Raluy, co-director of the company, said: "Returning to Barcelona for Christmas always feels like coming home, but this year has been different. Cyborg has had such an extraordinary public response during the tour that we couldn't not bring it back." The production blends high-energy acrobatics, theatrical staging, and sensory spectacle, described as "more than a show, it's a sensory experience" featuring magnetic, almost robotic characters, death-defying acts, and comedic interludes led by performers such as Dimitri, Bigotes, and Pietro.
Gold Medal recipients bring acclaimed tour to Barcelona
The Barcelona run follows the company’s receipt of the Gold Medal of the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts in 2025, an official distinction recognising their career-long contribution to the performing arts. The award underscores the company’s status as one of Europe’s most celebrated circus troupes. The current tour has already drawn sell-out crowds in cities across the Valencian Community and Murcia, with the Sagunto leg concluding in early September 2026. The Barcelona season will be the first in Catalonia since the end of that tour.

A 25% discount will apply thereafter for Club Vanguardia members using their membership card, according to club.lavanguardia.com.
