Body Found After Late-Night Assault Report
The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death of a man found lifeless with signs of violence after police were alerted to an assault in a public place on the outskirts of Terrassa at around 11:15 PM on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. Multiple patrols and units from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) responded to the scene near Masia de Can Montllor. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a man who showed clear signs of physical trauma. Paramedics were unable to revive him.
The incident occurred during a fight between known homeless individuals in a secluded area.
Criminal Investigation Underway
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos d'Esquadra has taken over the case to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death. According to sources close to the investigation cited by El País and ara.cat, the fatal incident took place during a confrontation between homeless people who knew each other, in a campsite on the city’s periphery. Reports confirm the man died as a result of a stabbing. As of Thursday morning, no arrests have been made. The DIC is continuing its inquiries to establish the sequence of events and the identity of any suspects.
