Bankruptcy declared in Barcelona

Commercial Court number 7 of Barcelona has officially declared bankruptcy proceedings against Enter Coliving, a company that rented furnished rooms and shared apartments in the city. The firm entered insolvency eight years after its founding, with Baker Tilly appointed as the insolvency administrator. The company, incorporated in February 2018 as Blue Bricks Consulting SL before rebranding, began operations in 2019 and has struggled financially throughout its existence. Over seven years of activity, it made a profit in only three, and those gains were described as 'testimonial' in amount. The accumulated losses total €1.2 million, resulting in negative equity of €900,000.

Properties across Eixample, Gràcia and beyond

Enter Coliving managed properties in Barcelona’s Eixample, Gràcia, Poblenou, and Born districts, as well as a small portfolio in Valencia. One of its former properties was the Bloc Papallona, a modernist building in Eixample, which it vacated following community opposition to its conversion into shared flats. The company’s offices are located at Carrer Poeta Cabanyes 14 in Barcelona. It operated under the sector classification of property management and real estate, according to its registration at the Barcelona Mercantile Registry.

Financial downturn despite revenue growth

In its last full fiscal year, Enter Coliving reported €2.5 million in revenue, a 77% increase from the previous period. However, losses surged to €328,000. The company’s financial filings show continued instability, with administrative changes recorded in mid-2025, including the revocation of powers for shareholder Christoph Rosenthal and the appointment of Adrià Creixell Tarrés and Erwin Groenendijk as joint administrators.

Adrià Creixell Tarrés and Erwin Groenendijk are the administrators and co-owners of Enter Coliving, with Christoph Rosenthal listed as a third shareholder.

The court has also approved five additional voluntary bankruptcy filings in Catalonia:

  • Carpicanyol, a car and motorcycle dealer from Barcelona, with Uriel Murillo Cid as administrator;
  • Gibernal Investments, a real estate developer from El Masnou, entering special liquidation under Rubén Alejandro Cabanes Gracia;
