Oxygène & Beyond Tour Marks 50th Anniversary

French electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre will return to Barcelona on Sunday 24 October 2027, performing at the Palau Sant Jordi as part of his 'Oxygene & Beyond Tour'. The concert was announced on Wednesday by promoter The Project and marks the 50th anniversary of his seminal 1976 album Oxygène. Jarre, widely regarded as one of the founding figures of electronic music, last performed in the Catalan capital 11 years ago. This upcoming show will celebrate the legacy of Oxygène while also featuring material from his forthcoming new album, due for release in spring 2027.

Immersive Production Combines Past and Future

According to the official announcement, the concert will feature a cutting-edge immersive production. It will blend the original Oxygène repertoire with previews of Jarre’s next creative project, creating what the artist describes as "a journey through space and time". The international tour begins in autumn 2027 with performances across Europe, including Paris, London, Berlin, and Prague, before reaching Barcelona as one of its final European dates.

This tour is both a celebration of where it all began and an invitation to imagine what comes next.
