Brisa Open Air is scheduled to return to John Lennon Square in Gavà in August 2026, bringing live music, food and late-afternoon sessions back to the industrial area beside the Barnasud shopping centre.

For residents and visitors, the return means large weekend crowds are expected near Carrer de la Forja, with the venue accessible from Gavà station on the R2 Sud Rodalies commuter rail line. El Periódico reported on 15 July that the event expects to gather up to 5,000 people.

Previous editions drew an average of 2,000 people a day and reached a sell-out crowd of 3,000, according to El Confidencial's reporting on the project. The venue is in the Gavà industrial estate, away from residential streets and next to the Parc Agrari agricultural park.

Two-year operating concession proposed

The planned return follows a municipal tender for the leisure space in John Lennon Square. Aribau Global Solutions, SL, a company linked to Grupo Lancaster and El Paripé, was the highest-rated bidder, El Confidencial reported.

If the award is finalised, the concession would allow the site to operate from 1 May to 2 November for two years, with a possible two-year extension. Brisa Open Air would therefore be able to run across the summer and early autumn seasons under the proposed arrangement.

The venue was developed in three months by Grupo Lancaster with leisure operators including Paripé, La Daurada and Biloba. The reported investment for its three-month season was about €400,000.
