# Two arrested after shooting in L'Hospitalet

Two men have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a shooting shortly before 1am on Wednesday, 2 September, on Sant Carles Street in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's regional police force, confirmed a bullet impact on a building façade and have opened an investigation.

For residents near the junction of Sant Carles Street and Pere Pelegrí Street, close to the Esplugues de Llobregat boundary, police said no injuries have been reported. Officers have not recovered a firearm.

## Bullet impacts found after reports of gunshots

According to reporting by ElCaso, people arrived at a home on Sant Carles Street and a confrontation followed with the two men living there. The reason for the dispute has not been established.

Residents reported hearing up to three detonations. The police inspection found bullet impacts inside the flat and another on the building's façade, according to ElCaso.

- Police received the call a few minutes before 1am.
- The reported shooting was at the Sant Carles Street and Pere Pelegrí Street junction.
- No injured person has been reported to police.

## Vehicle intercepted on the Ronda de Dalt

Mossos officers later intercepted a vehicle travelling towards Besòs on the Ronda de Dalt, the B-20 ring road. Its two occupants were arrested over their alleged involvement in the incident.

Police are investigating who fired the shots and the circumstances of the confrontation. A search of the vehicle did not find a weapon, ElCaso reported.
