# Three Arrested in Badalona After 32 Stolen Phones Recovered

## Stolen Phones Found Wrapped in Foil

Agents from the Mossos d'Esquadra Badalona police station arrested two women, aged 21 and 27, and a 30-year-old man on 6 September after stopping their vehicle on Doctor Bassols street in Badalona. The arrest followed the discovery of 32 stolen mobile phones, all wrapped in aluminium foil, found in a bag under the passenger seat. Two sets of headphones were also recovered. The interception occurred around midnight when an unmarked patrol observed the car driving without lights. Despite clear signals to stop, the driver continued for several metres before being detained. According to a police statement, the driver’s attempt to hide his face and visible agitation raised immediate suspicion of illicit activity.

## Victims Identified After Festival Thefts

The stolen phones were taken during a party at the Viladecans Festival on the night of 4 to 5 September. Police have now identified and returned devices to 20 of the 32 victims. The three suspects were held on suspicion of receiving stolen goods and appeared before a judge at Badalona courts on 8 September. Further investigation is ongoing to trace the remaining devices and determine the full extent of the theft ring.
