## Production to Stop Completely

Trade unions representing workers at SEAT’s Barcelona facilities have announced a full shutdown of car production during the upcoming general strike on Wednesday 11 November 2026\. At the Martorell plant, which is the main manufacturing site, no SEAT vehicles will leave the factory that day, according to the anarcho-syndicalist union CGT. The Works Council has agreed on minimum services with Volkswagen Spain, the parent company, but these will apply only to security, maintenance, and medical staff. All production-line workers are expected to participate in the strike.

## Strike in Defence of Dignity

In a joint statement, union groups described the strike as a stand for labour and social rights, calling it a strike "in defence of our dignity".
