# Reus Airport to Launch Amsterdam Flights in March

The Aeroport de Reus will launch a new direct route to Amsterdam starting 30 March 2027, operated by Transavia with three weekly flights. The service will run until 30 October 2027, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Tickets for the new route will go on sale from 16 September 2026\. This marks the return of Transavia to Reus Airport, which previously operated the same connection between 2017 and 2019.

The Netherlands is the fourth-largest international market for the Costa Daurada and the third-largest for the Terres de l'Ebre. In 2025, nearly 258,000 Dutch visitors came to the region, with 42% arriving outside the peak summer months of June to September, supporting efforts to deschedule tourism activity.

According to the Diputació de Tarragona, the Dutch market shows strong interest in cultural, gastronomic, and nature tourism, as well as short breaks. The new route will improve international mobility for local residents, offering a direct alternative to travelling to other airports for flights to the Netherlands.

The expansion of services at Reus Airport results from collaboration within the Airport's Strategic Table, driven by the Patronat de Turisme de la Diputació de Tarragona. The restored connection strengthens regional air access and supports tourism growth in Tarragona province.
