## Final Tour Draws 220,000 Fans

The Catalan band Oques Grasses begin their four farewell concerts at Barcelona’s Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys this evening, marking the end of their 14-year career. Around 220,000 people are expected to attend across the four nights, 5, 7, 9 and 10 October, making it a historic event for a group performing in Catalan. All tickets were sold out within minutes of release, with organisers later releasing additional seats due to final stage adjustments. These were described as "the last chance" to attend by concert coordinators.

## A Landmark in Catalan Music

This run is the first time a Catalan-language act has headlined its own series of concerts at the iconic Olympic venue. The milestone reflects the band’s rise from regional roots in Osona to national prominence, supported by over 500 million streams on Spotify and multiple Platinum and Gold certifications. Their 2024 album *Fruit del deliri*, released through Halley Records, achieved the best debut for a Catalan album in digital platform history, reaching number three on Spain’s sales chart.

> Beautiful things sometimes have to end so we always remember them that way.

In a social media statement announcing the tour, the band said the journey began out of love and would conclude the same way. They thanked fans for their support, adding: "There are not enough words to thank you for the love you have given us."

### Broadcast Details

The final concert on Saturday 10 October will be broadcast live on 3Cat and iCat, with radio coverage on Ràdio 4 and La2Cat.
