The centre, located at Carrer Muntaner, 200, began operations this week as part of a citywide effort to provide more accessible, equitable, and timely care. This new location complements the existing SARA centre in Nou Barris at Carrer Marie Curie, 16, allowing the city to divide service areas and reduce wait times. The Muntaner site will serve residents in Ciutat Vella, Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc, Les Corts, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Gràcia, and Sant Martí. --- ## Who Can Access the Service The SARA service provides free, confidential, outpatient care to all women, children, and adolescents affected by gender-based violence, regardless of age, disability, legal status, sexual orientation, or origin. Support includes personalised recovery plans, legal and social advice, access to protection resources in cases of moderate or high risk, and job placement assistance.
