A motorcyclist was arrested in Barcelona’s Eixample district on Friday afternoon. This significant drug arrest followed a routine traffic intervention. Officers from the Guàrdia Urbana de Barcelona (GUB) first noticed the individual due to his dangerous driving behaviour. According to police reports, the rider was observed zigzagging erratically between vehicles. This reckless action posed a clear risk to other road users in the busy city centre.

## Fake documentation and prior convictions lead to search

When officers stopped the motorcycle to address the unsafe driving, the situation quickly escalated. The driver presented a driving licence that displayed clear signs of forgery. Subsequently, officers ran the man’s details through police databases. They discovered he had several prior convictions for crimes against public health. Therefore, prompted by the fraudulent document and the suspect’s criminal history, the patrol conducted a physical search. Consequently, officers discovered nearly 70 grams of cocaine concealed on the man’s person.
