The main festival runs from Friday, 25 September to Sunday, 4 October across streets, squares, and community facilities in the Montbau neighbourhood, part of Barcelona’s Horta-Guinardó district. --- ## Main Festival Highlights Opening festivities kick off on 25 September at 6.30pm with the inauguration of the 47th Mostra Art Montbau at the parish community centre on Plaça de Mossèn Ferran Palau, 3\. The exhibition runs until 30 September. At 8.30pm, the official festival proclamation (\*pregó\*) will be delivered by the editorial team of \*Ressò de Montbau\*, the local magazine. This takes place at Pla de Montbau (lower section). Shortly after, at 8.45pm, a dual correfoc, a traditional Catalan fire run, for children and adults starts from Plaça de Mossèn Ferran. The evening continues with a Rock pels Xuklis concert featuring Punk Party Project and 23.50 Piratas Rumbversions at Pla de Montbau, followed by a reggaeton night at Jardins de Poesia from 10.30pm. ### Saturday 26 September Programme - 11am: Educational water-themed activities at Pla de Montbau - 12pm: Family escape box game at Montbau’s multipurpose hall - 6.30pm: Rock concerts at Pla de Montbau, including Metal Busters, Bunker, Barrena, AFANOC, Terminal Violence, and Leyendarian - 10pm: Night music event at Jardins de Poesia Further events include a popular paella, live music performances, habaneras sung with burnt rum, and a pyrotechnic show. --- ## Event Cancellation Due to Collserola Restrictions The traditional gathering of Sant Cebrià and Santa Justina will not take place in 2026\.
