The arrest took place on Thursday afternoon around 4:30 pm on Carrer de la Riera Blanca, when officers stopped a man riding an electric scooter carrying multiple bags. According to police reports, the suspect attempted to flee into a taxi upon seeing the patrol but was intercepted. During a search of the bags, officers discovered 42 watches, jewellery, decorative knives, lighters, a bank card belonging to another person, and 840 euros in cash. Initially detained on suspicion of receiving stolen goods, investigators later linked the items to a reported burglary at a home in Les Corts. ## Trust Exploited in Home Theft The victims told officers that the suspect had gained the trust of one resident by being temporarily hosted in their home. Once inside, he allegedly stole a significant quantity of personal property. > The items recovered included high-value watches, jewellery, and cash, all of which were later returned to their rightful owners. As a result of the investigation, the suspect was formally charged with robbery with force in a dwelling.
