For residents in the block and nearby streets, the reported case centres on a suspected entry through an apartment window and shows the value of reporting suspicious activity promptly rather than confronting a person directly. According to the report, the witness noticed a person on the building facade at about 11.30pm, apparently attempting to reach flats through their windows. The neighbour alerted the Guàrdia Urbana and recorded video of the incident. ## Wallet reportedly recovered after officers arrived El Caso said patrols used the witness’s description and footage to locate the suspect, who had allegedly entered one apartment. Officers reportedly found a wallet taken from the flat when they searched him. The report said the wallet was returned to the tenant and that the man was taken to a police station after being arrested on suspicion of theft. No further details about the suspect’s identity or the apartment were given in the report. --- ## How theft victims can make a complaint Residents who need to report a theft can use the [Guàrdia Urbana complaints service](https://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/guardiaurbana/en/procedures/complaints?ref=barna.news), which has a network of offices for lodging complaints. The city police list thefts among the reports that can be filed. - For an alleged theft valued at more than €1,000, the complaint must always be made in person, according to the Guàrdia Urbana. - The city police also provide procedures for requesting an action report after an intervention by officers. - Residents can consult the Guàrdia Urbana’s [procedures page](https://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/guardiaurbana/en/procedures/procedures?ref=barna.news) for appointments and security-related administrative services. Carrer del Llobregós is in Horta-Guinardó, and Barcelona City Council’s institutional repository identifies a section of the street by Mercat del Carmel. Residents making a theft complaint should retain any footage, photographs and details of the missing property for police. --- *Primary sources:* [*bcnroc.ajuntament.barcelona.cat*](https://bcnroc.ajuntament.barcelona.cat/jspui/browse?type=cobertura&value=Llobreg%C3%B3s%2C+Street+%28Barcelona%29&ref=barna.news)*,* [*ajuntament.barcelona.cat*](https://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/guardiaurbana/en/procedures/procedures?ref=barna.news)*,* [*opendata-ajuntament.barcelona.cat*](https://opendata-ajuntament.barcelona.cat/data/es/dataset/incidents-gestionats-gub/resource/0a7c67f7-fe8c-4b95-9e71-68c26fafc3db?ref=barna.news)*.
