On 2 October 2026, the Territorial Commission of Urbanism of the Metropolitan Arc of Barcelona issued a favourable report on the Special Urban Plan, enabling the municipal government to proceed towards definitive approval of the project. This decision follows a resolution by the Generalitat and allows the Ajuntament de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres to advance the redevelopment of the former primary school complex on Passeig de Jaume Brutau. The site, owned by the municipality and measuring 2,458 square metres, lies between Passeig de Jaume Brutau and Avinguda de Pau Casals in the heart of the town. ## Adaptable Space for Culture and Community The new Auditori-Teatre will feature a hall with seating for approximately 310 people. Designed as an adaptable space, it will host performances, concerts, institutional events, and gatherings of local associations. While primarily intended for cultural use, the facility will also support civic, social, and educational activities.
