Residents and visitors will find activities at Rambla de Badal, carrer de Súria, plaça del Fènix, Baix Jocs Florals and Mossèn Amadeu Oller. The programme is organised by the Festa Major de la Bordeta committee with support from Barcelona City Council. The City Council describes the festival as an event led by the three local street commissions at Baix Jocs Florals, plaça del Fènix and plaça de Súria. ## Opening speech and first weekend events The traditional *pregó*, the opening speech, is listed for Thursday 3 September at 8.30pm. It will be delivered by local writer and activist Jordi Soler. - **Fira de Festa Major:** Rambla de Badal, between carrer de Constitució and carrer de Quetzal, open from 10am to 9pm on Saturday and from 10am to 7pm on Sunday. Badal Bordeta Comerç will present local craft, food, retail and community stalls. - **Correfoc:** a fire-run parade with devils and fireworks, listed for Sunday 7 September at 9pm. Its route will run along carrer de Constitució from Mossèn Amadeu Oller to Rambla de Badal and back. - **Festa Major Bestial:** Parc de Can Batlló, Monday 8 September at 5.30pm, with workshops on dogs, cats and responsible pet ownership for families. --- ## Closing-day tour and dance event On Saturday 13 September at 10am, *La Bordeta entre bambalines* will offer a guided visit to creative spaces, studios and workshops in the neighbourhood. Later that day, *La Bordeta en Dansa* will begin at 5.30pm in Plaça de Celestina Vigneaux, with intercultural dance and music.
