This lottery selected 2,592 individuals, comprising both main members and substitutes, to serve on the 288 electoral boards for the general elections scheduled for Sunday 29th November. Each electoral board will consist of three main members: a president and two other members. Additionally, two substitutes are designated for each of these positions, meaning nine people in total, three main and six substitutes, are chosen for every board. Those selected will receive official notification of their appointment within the next three days. This notification will include a manual detailing their specific duties on election day. Serving on an electoral board is mandatory for both main members and substitutes. Residents with a justified reason preventing them from fulfilling this duty may submit an appeal to the District Electoral Board. Appeals must be submitted within seven calendar days of receiving the notification, accompanied by supporting documentation. The District Electoral Board is responsible for resolving these appeals. Individuals aged between 65 and 69 who have been designated also have the option to renounce their position within the same seven-day period. --- ## Voting Information for the 29th November Election A total of 181,107 residents in L'Hospitalet are eligible to vote in the general elections on Sunday 29th November. Among these, 7,942 will be voting for the first time since the 2024 European Parliament elections. The city will feature 288 electoral boards, an increase of five from the last election. These boards will be distributed across 53 polling stations located in the city's six districts. Voting hours will run from 9 AM to 8 PM on election day. The lottery process selected individuals registered on the electoral roll for each board who can read and write and are under 70 years of age. Those who will turn 18 between the date of the lottery and the election day are excluded. To serve as president of an electoral board, candidates must hold a Baccalaureate or a second-cycle vocational training qualification, or an equivalent qualification such as a General Certificate of Education. For further information on the electoral process, residents can contact the municipal telephone number 010, available Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, or visit the [City Council's website](https://www.l-h.cat/inici%5F2.aspx?id=2&ref=barna.news). On election day, the municipal application Connecta L’H will provide a link to consult the election results. --- *Sources:* [*El Periódico*](https://www.elperiodico.com/es/barcelona/20261102/lhospitalet-designa-2-592-personas-288-mesas-electorales-del-29-de-noviembre-136006200?ref=barna.news)*,* [*catalunyainfo.com*](https://www.catalunyainfo.com/ca/eleccions/l-hospitalet-de-llobregat/?ref=barna.news)*.* --- ### Related on Barna.News - [TVE Postpones Barcelona Election Debate](https://barna.news/tve-postpones-barcelona-election-debate/) - [Barcelona Postpones Plenary Over Toledo Train Tragedy](https://barna.news/barcelona-postpones-plenary-over-toledo/) - [Updated: PP’s Sirera warns Junts vote could make Colau housing minister](https://barna.news/pps-sirera-warns-junts-vote-could-make/) - [Alhora to File 'Fora Renfe' Bill in Parliament](https://barna.news/alhora-to-file-fora-renfe-bill-in/)
