A ‘family office’ related to the eyewear brand Etnia has purchased a building on Paseo de Gràcia in Barcelona for around 15 million euros.
The property, spanning 800 square meters, currently houses Lynk & Co’s club, the first in Spain. Located in a prime commercial area, the acquisition aligns with the family office’s real estate diversification strategy. The building was previously owned by Monterri, linked to the Rubiralta family, founders of Werfen. Monterri has been divesting strategic assets in recent years as part of their patrimonial reorganization. The move raises questions about Etnia’s long-term real estate investment plans and potential impacts on their core business.
