# Droneart Show to Light up Barcelona With 1,000 Drones

Barcelona’s night sky will become a canvas for a spectacular fusion of technology and classical art next March. The DroneArt Show returns to the city for two nights, promising a larger, more intricate display featuring 1,000 synchronised drones dancing to the sounds of a live string quartet.

The event will take place at the expansive [Parc del Fòrum](https://maps.google.com/?q=Carrer+de+la+Pau,+12,+08930+Sant+Adri%C3%A0+de+Bes%C3%B2s,+Barcelona&ref=barna.news) on Friday, 6 March and Saturday, 7 March 2026\. Following a completely sold-out debut in October 2025 with 500 drones, organisers have doubled the fleet for this second edition. Tickets for the upcoming shows are reportedly selling fast, according to details published by Barcelona Secreta.

## A Symphony of Light and Sound

The unique performance combines a candlelit classical concert with a high-tech aerial ballet. While a string quartet performs on an intimate, candlelit stage, the sky above will erupt with light as drones form intricate shapes. These flying robots will create synchronised patterns of animals, flowers, stars, and abstract figures, all choreographed to the live music.

The 65-minute show’s musical programme includes a selection of celebrated classical pieces. Audiences can expect to hear returning favourites from the 2025 edition, including:

- Vivaldi’s *The Four Seasons*
- Debussy’s *The Snow is Dancing*
- Mussorgsky’s *Ballet of the Unhatched Chicks*
- Camille Saint-Saëns’ *The Cuckoo* and *The Swan*

Additionally, the 2026 programme will feature new arrangements, such as Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s energetic *Flight of the Bumblebee* and Paul Dukas’s famous symphonic poem, *The Sorcerer’s Apprentice*.

## World-Class Technology and Local Setting

Nova Sky Stories, a company renowned for large-scale aerial displays, provides the advanced drone technology. In 2025, Nova Sky Stories gained international acclaim for the spectacular *Grace for the World* show in Vatican City, featuring Andrea Bocelli and Pharrell Williams alongside a drone light show over St. Peter’s Square.

Doors open at 7:00 PM (19:00h), two hours before the show’s punctual 9:00 PM (21:00h) start time. After its two-night Barcelona run, the DroneArt Show will continue its Spanish tour, with future dates planned for Madrid and Alicante.
