National Police officers detained him as the alleged perpetrator of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, marking a dramatic fall from his public persona as a love and relationship coach. Albarracín built his online popularity offering advice on romantic success, but behind the scenes, sources close to him claim a different reality. According to testimonies reported by Crónica Global, private parties involving drugs and women working in prostitution were regular occurrences at Lounge Barcelona, one of his establishments. > He projected an image of love and emotional guidance, but the truth behind the scenes was far darker. --- ## Network of Establishments Raided The arrest followed a large-scale police operation dubbed 'Operation Trufa', led by the Central Unit for Illegal Immigration Networks and Document Forgery (UCRIF). In the early hours of Tuesday to Wednesday, officers raided multiple venues and private apartments across Barcelona, Madrid, Tenerife, and Seville. A judge from the 3rd Criminal Court specialising in Violence Against Women in Barcelona had authorised eleven search warrants. Among the premises searched were four businesses linked to Albarracín in Barcelona: Apricots Camp Nou, Apricots Centro, Sugargirls Barcelona, and Lounge Barcelona. The operation targeted his commercial network, which reportedly includes seven brothels and up to 21 companies. Websites for these businesses, Apricot, Sugargirls, and Lounge, ceased operation shortly after news of the arrest became public. ## Allegations Beyond Trafficking In addition to the trafficking investigation, former employees have filed complaints against Albarracín over working conditions. Allegations include non-payment of night shift supplements for receptionists and disputes over final settlements upon termination. Sources also claim that Albarracín used uncontracted drivers to distribute drugs, with drug use and dealing reportedly common during private gatherings. While judicial secrecy limits public detail, the scale of the operation suggests a broad investigation into criminal activity within his enterprises. His wife has also been placed in preventive detention, though she may be released on bail if 600,000 euros is paid. The couple’s arrest has caused significant shock in Barcelona’s upper social circles, particularly in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, where Albarracín was a known figure at the exclusive Arsenal Masculino sports club. ## History of Legal Troubles This is not the first time Albarracín has faced legal consequences. Sources close to him say he was previously imprisoned in France over a drug-related matter, though these details have not been independently verified. His self-described model of 'ethical prostitution' now stands under intense scrutiny as authorities investigate whether the women who worked in his establishments, many of them foreign nationals in irregular administrative situations, were exploited. For now, the man who preached love online remains in custody as the investigation continues. --- *Sources:* [*Crónica Global*](https://cronicaglobal.elespanol.com/vida/20261108/dr-love-ingresa-prision-predicar-fiestas-prostitutas/1003742809740%5F0.html?ref=barna.news)*,* [*Barna.News News Desk*](https://barna.news/influencer-dr-love-arrested-in/)*.* --- ### Related on Barna.News - [Influencer 'Dr. Love' Arrested in Barcelona Prostitution Raids](https://barna.news/influencer-dr-love-arrested-in/) - [Two fugitives arrested in Barcelona on international warrants](https://barna.news/two-fugitives-arrested-in-barcelona-on/) - [Catalan Gov to Pursue Telegram Staff Over Blocus](https://barna.news/catalan-gov-to-pursue-telegram-staff/) - [Ku Barcelona Faces Closure After Overcrowding Ruling](https://barna.news/ku-barcelona-faces-closure-after/)
