The shows, part of his '25 P*t*s Años' tour celebrating 25 years in music, were set to begin at 9:00 PM each night. Fans who had tickets, some of which were sold out for the Saturday performance, learned of the cancellation via an official statement released on 23rd October. The event listing on [Agenda 500](https://agenda500.barcelona.cat/en/detall/concert-dani-martin-dins-la-gira-25-p-t-s-anos-ajornat%5F99400747179.html?ref=barna.news), the city's official cultural calendar, now states the event is postponed with new dates to be announced. --- ## No Details Given on Family Situation A brief statement from organisers cited "a family situation of extreme gravity" as the reason for the cancellation. It read: "Due to a family situation of extreme gravity, Dani Martín will not be able to carry out the concerts scheduled for today and tomorrow in Barcelona. In the coming dates, we will be able to communicate the rescheduling of these concerts. We apologise for any inconvenience this situation may cause. Thank you very much." The Madrid-born artist has not made any personal statement and is known for keeping his private life out of the public eye. No further details about the nature of the family matter have been disclosed. --- ## Support Flows In From Fans > "We stand with you, Dani. Your family comes first.", Fan comment on official social media Social media platforms were quickly filled with messages of support for Martín and his family. Followers expressed understanding and solidarity, with many emphasising that personal well-being should take precedence over public appearances. The concerts in Barcelona were a key stop on his '25 P*t*s Años' tour, which reflects on his career both as frontman of El Canto del Loco and as a solo artist. The tour includes performances of major hits such as "Zapatillas". ### Recent High-Profile Appearance Martín had recently appeared at a high-profile event in Madrid on Monday 12th October 2026, joining Shakira for the final concert of her European residency at Macondo Park. He performed a duet of "Te dejo Madrid" with her in front of over 55,000 people, an event covered by multiple outlets including *lasexta.com* and *revistagq.com*. That performance marked a professional high point just days before the current cancellation. ### What Happens to Tickets?
