"It's harder to get fresh, quality food than an 'I love Barcelona' t-shirt," she said. On housing, Vega demanded an end to public funding for investment funds like Som Habitatge and New Amsterdam. She supported Collboni’s 2028 tourist flat elimination plan but accused him of hypocrisy for also backing airport expansion. ## Transport and Urban Policy Vega backed expanding the superblock model across all districts, including Nou Barris and Ciutat Meridiana, not just central areas. She warned that urban improvements must not drive up housing costs. She opposed entrance tolls to Barcelona, arguing such measures would burden working-class residents. Instead, she urged wealthier individuals and corporations to pay more. Public transport must be improved, she said, noting overcrowded buses due to tourism. She advocated free metro access and better regional connectivity. ## Security and Labour Rights Vega defined security beyond crime, pointing to workplace dangers. She cited a 2025 case of a worker dying from heatstroke in Barcelona and noted a work fatality every four days in Catalonia. While condemning the presence of firearms and bladed weapons, she rejected higher penalties and more police as solutions.
