Circuit [Festival](https://barna.news/art-nou-festival-lhospitalet-barcelona-2024/) is due to return to Barcelona from Friday 1 August to Saturday 9 August, with organisers describing the 2026 edition as its most ambitious so far. For residents, commuters and businesses near nightlife and seafront venues, that means nine days of large events, added visitor numbers and activity split between Barcelona and the Port Fòrum area in neighbouring Sant Adrià de Besòs.

According to the [festival](https://barna.news/barcelona-opens-50th-grec-festival/)'s [official event page](https://www.circuitfestival.net/barcelona/?ref=barna.news) and an official notice from [Barcelona City Council](https://www.ajuntament.barcelona.cat/en/actualitat/noticies/circuit-festival-2026?ref=barna.news), the programme will run across multiple venues during the first full week of August. Organisers say previous editions drew around 60,000 attendees from more than 80 countries, a figure also reflected in material published by Intermèdia Comunicació for Matinée Group.

> Barcelona will again host Circuit Festival from 1 to 9 August, with events across the city and the metropolitan coast.

## New venues include Luz de Gas and Seasea Club

The official information published so far says the festival will add venues including Luz de Gas in Barcelona and the new Seasea Club at Port Fòrum, in Sant Adrià de Besòs. Port Fòrum sits on the north-eastern edge of the city, an area used for large leisure and waterfront events.

That matters locally because late-night traffic, taxis and public transport demand can rise sharply around festival sites, especially in coastal districts and along routes linking central Barcelona with Fòrum. People planning to move around those areas during the first nine days of August should check the event schedule and venue details in advance.

- Dates: Friday 1 August to Saturday 9 August
- Main area: Barcelona
- Additional venue area: Port Fòrum, Sant Adrià de Besòs
- Newly cited venues: Luz de Gas and Seasea Club

## Organisers cite international attendance

Circuit Festival describes itself on its official site as the world's largest LGBTQ+ festival. The city council notice and promotional material linked to Matinée Group present the event as a major international draw for both music and tourism in Barcelona.

Attendance estimates in the available source material refer to about 60,000 people from more than 80 countries, based on previous editions rather than a confirmed final figure for 2026\. Those numbers have not yet been independently verified for this year's event.

[Readers](https://barna.news/search-continues-for-missing-woman-in-ti/) who plan to attend should use the official festival website for tickets, venue [access](https://barna.news/sants-station-works-reshape-ave-and-roda-2/) and schedule updates.
