Barcelona City Council’s Office of Economic Promotion for the Eixample district has launched free guided tours of the area’s historic shops, with accessible options for people with hearing disabilities, as Diari de la Discapacitat reported. The tours, run by cultural company Punt de Fuga, take place on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings throughout October and November.

## Sign Language Interpretation Available on Request

Tours on 20 and 21 November will include Catalan Sign Language (LSC) interpretation for participants who are deaf or have functional hearing diversity. To access this service, attendees must request it in the observations field of the [pre-registration form](https://diarideladiscapacitat.cat/barcelona-organitza-rutes-pels-seus-comercos-emblematics-amb-opcio-dinterpretacio-en-llengua-de-signes/?ref=barna.news) at least one week in advance. Spaces are limited and pre-booking is required for all sessions.

These walks occur on Fridays 23 and 30 October, 6 and 13 November (5:30 PM), and Saturdays 14, 21 and 28 November (11 AM).

The second route covers Esquerra de l’Eixample, featuring Balmes bakery, pharmacies Mariné, Serralta and Antonio Torres, Espuñes plumbing, Mantequeria Lasierra, Pintures Jordi and Colmado Cerdà. These tours run on Saturdays 24 and 31 October, 7 November (11 AM), and Fridays 13, 20 and 27 November (5:30 PM), with LSC support available on 20 November upon request.
