This automatic designation, established under transitional provisions due to the housing emergency, remains in effect for up to one year unless renewed through formal declaration by the competent department of the Generalitat. The reference rent is calculated using an official index based on data from the urban lease deposit registry, considering location, size, construction year, energy efficiency, and other characteristics.
