Barcelona City Council says it has supported more than 47,000 people in Barcelona applying for Spanish residency permits through the Government’s extraordinary regularisation process. It has also issued 29,800 vulnerability certificates since the special procedure began.

The council has processed 175,440 municipal register certificates, known as volantes del padrón, and 77 certificates of empadronamiento. These documents confirm registration on the municipal register and are needed for residency applications.

Support first ran through several points across the city, including citizen service offices at Plaça Sant Miquel and Monumental, the Miquel Bleach centre, and the [SAIER](http://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/cita/saier?ref=barna.news) office, the city service for immigrants, emigrants and refugees. Pavilion 2 at [Fira de Montjuïc](https://www.firabarcelona.com/en/?ref=barna.news) also handled appointment turns.

Since May, Pavilion 2 has distributed about 17,700 appointment turns. The site, at Avinguda Rius i Taulet 10, will open from 08:00 to 20:30 from this Tuesday. Last week, it also began hosting an integral support team, which helps applicants with paperwork and questions about the regularisation campaign. More than 4,000 people have used that service.

From this week, the Miquel Bleach centre and Fira de Montjuïc Pavilion will handle all procedures and support for the regularisation process. The Plaça Sant Miquel and Monumental citizen service offices will no longer provide help for this extraordinary process during the week, although Monumental will still be open on Saturdays from 08:00 to 20:00 for applications.
