The findings, published on Friday 6th November 2026, reveal broad public consensus on the need for government action to promote and protect the Catalan language. Specifically, 80% of respondents who answered the question favour such measures. Of all participants, 64% expressed a very high level of agreement, rating their support between 8 and 10 on a 0-to-10 scale, while a further 13% gave a score of 6 or 7\. Only 11% disagreed with the proposal, and 8% took an intermediate position. The policy received an average rating of 7.9 out of 10.
